Jay is one of the most innovative and unique play-by-play men in baseball.  I learned more from Jay than any partner I have had the opportunity to work with.  He is a terrific broadcaster and a better person and I would highly recommend him for any job.

Notre Dame College & Radio Host

Jay's quick wit and incredible knowledge of the business make him a must listen every night in the summer. It's an absolute honor to work with Jay, listen to Jay, and call him a friend.

As a Professional Sport Psychologist for the past 47 years, I have been around athletic programs on many campuses, working with the teams, coaches and individual athletes. Accordingly, I have tuned into game broadcasts from all of those campuses. I can say, without hesitation, that Jay Burnham is the most professional, knowledgeable, flexible, quick thinking broadcaster to whom I have ever had the pleasure of listening. I not only look forward to watching each game, but listening to Jay’s amazing broadcast! Here is an example of Jay’s fantastic talent: When games are not going well for his UMASS team, Jay has the ability to “make lemonade out of lemons” on the fly, creating a positive and comforting game broadcast for his listeners, regardless of the score! I could not recommend a professional broadcaster more highly than Jay Burnham! Jack Singer, Ph.D.Professional Sport Psychologist &Jay Burnham Enthusiast
